Leadership

  • Scott Meyer, Chief Executive Officer

    Scott co-founded Ghostery, Inc. while an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Warburg Pincus LLC, the global private equity firm that is supporting the company. From 2005-2008, Scott was President and CEO of About.com, a part of The New York Times Company. He spent eight years with The New York Times Company in a number of senior management roles. In addition to his role at About.com, he was the General Manager of the company’s flagship website, The New York Times on the Web. He also served as vice president, strategic planning for The Boston Globe. Before joining The New York Times Company, Scott was with Multex.com (a venture-backed company which was acquired by Reuters in 2003 after a successful IPO in 1999), where he was Vice President and General Manager of its business-to-consumer division.

    Before beginning his media career, Scott worked in management consulting at The Boston Consulting Group and in investment banking at Merrill Lynch & Co. Scott holds an A.B. in Public Policy and American Institutions from Brown University, where he was a winner of the Rouse Prize for Economics. Scott also interned in the US Senate and in the Office of Management and Budget as a recipient of a White Internship from the Taubman Center for Public Policy at Brown. He has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Scott is active in STEM education causes, including serving on the Board of Directors of ScriptEd.

  • Mark Rudolph, Chief Operating Officer & Chief Revenue Officer

    Mark is the Chief Operating Officer at Ghostery, Inc., and started with the organization in 2012.  Mark leads Ghostery’s global field operations to drive growth, customer adoption and success.  Prior to Ghostery, Mark was at Gomez, where he was Vice President of Sales & Customer Success for the Americas, which in 2009, was acquired by Compuware.  Mark started at Gomez in 1999, and held various sales/sales management positions, and was considered an integral part of the organization which helped drive Gomez into becoming the leading external performance monitoring provider. Prior to that,  Mark held various field sales and business development roles.  Mark holds an MBA from Boston College, as well as a BS in Management from The Georgia Institute of Technology.

  • Todd Ruback, Chief Privacy Officer & VP of Legal Affairs

    Todd is the Chief Privacy Officer at Ghostery, Inc.. His responsibilities include interfacing with regulators, legislators, and privacy thought leaders, as well as overseeing Ghostery’s internal privacy practices, human resources, and privacy by design processes. He holds certifications as a CIPP-US/E and CIPT through the International Association of Privacy Professionals. Prior to Ghostery he was head of the privacy and technology practice at  the law firm of DiFrancesco, Bateman, Coley in Warren, New Jersey and was also President of the Privacy Special Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Todd attended the University of Denver where he received both his BA and his JD.

  • Manny Ataebi, VP of Marketing

    Manny is the VP of Marketing at Ghostery, Inc. He is responsible for leading global marketing initiatives, including demand generation, brand management, product marketing, sales enablement, and marketing communications. Prior to joining, Manny was Director of B2B Marketing at Livecareer, the leading online career destination for job seekers, and led global marketing at Logicworks, a top provider of cloud automation and managed services for enterprises. His prior marketing experience includes stints at Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), a premier research firm, The Trump Organization and Major League Baseball Advanced Media. Manny has a B.A. in Psychology from the University at Albany, State University of New York.

  • Justin Donohoo, VP of Engineering & IT

    Justin is the VP of Engineering & IT at Ghostery Inc. He is responsible for product development, technology, infrastructure, program management, and support for Ghostery's wide range of products. Prior to joining Ghostery, Justin was a Development Team Lead and Software Architect at AutoPoint. While at AutoPoint, Justin was instrumental in transitioning AutoPoint from a distributed model over to a SAAS platform that predicated Solera's acquisition of the company. Prior to AutoPoint, Justin served as a Lead Developer at DST Inc., an automotive e-commerce SAAS company that was also acquired by Solera. Fun Fact: Justin was declined employment at Best Buy’s Geek Squad while in High School.

  • Eric Goldberg, VP Finance

    Eric is the VP of Finance at Ghostery, Inc., and is responsible for leading the company’s global finance and accounting functions while also supporting administrative operations. Eric brings over eight years of experience, most recently with the Technology practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Eric spent time working with venture backed emerging growth companies and assisted his clients with numerous transactions, including public offerings, private financings, M&A due diligence and related purchase accounting, sale transactions and carveouts, as well as control and process assessments in connection with Sarbanes Oxley 404 requirements. Prior to PwC, Eric provided assurance services at RSM US with a focus on middle market clients. Eric holds a BBA from Pace University with a concentration in accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

  • Damian Scragg, SVP Global Sales & European Operations

    Damian joined Ghostery in 2011, initially as VP Strategic Partnerships for the UK and is now responsible for Ghostery’s International growth - primarily focussing on business development, sales and customer success - as well as expansion into new countries and regions. Prior to Ghostery, Damian was Vice President of International Sales & Services at Auditude Inc. - a video ad management platform (now part of Adobe), where he developed the European go-to-market strategy, helping to build a presence in the UK and Europe. Damian has significant experience in the online advertising sector, including three years as European Sales Director at Right Media, the first online advertising exchange, implementing their European strategy prior to, during and after its takeover by Yahoo!. Damian’s 18 years of experience include roles at Transactis UK, Abacus Direct, CACI Ltd and Centaur Communications Ltd.

Board of Directors

  • Mark Colodny

    Mark M. Colodny joined Warburg Pincus in 2001 and focuses on TMT investments in media, Internet and information companies. Mr. Colodny also leads the firm’s West Coast office. Previously, he served as senior vice president of corporate development at Primedia where he ran the mergers and acquisitions group. He began his career as a journalist at Fortune magazine. Mr. Colodny received an A.B. from Harvard University, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. He is a director of A Place for Mom, CAMP, Ghostery, GlobalSpec, iParadigms, MLM Information Services, Multi View, OnTargetJobs and Spigit. Mr. Colodny is also chair of ProPublica’s Business Advisory Board.

  • Andrew Park

    Andrew Park joined Warburg Pincus in 2008 and focuses on investments in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Mr. Park worked in the Investment Banking Divisions at DLJ and UBS and in Private Equity at The Carlyle Group. He received a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Mr. Park. is a director of TradeCard, Ghostery and The Gordian Group.

  • Jonathan K. Hsu

    Jonathan is Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of AppNexus. A respected media and tech industry veteran, he previously served as CEO of Recyclebank, one of Fast Company’s “50 Most Innovative Companies in the World.” Prior to that, Jonathan spent 11 years in a number of executive roles – including CEO, COO, and CFO – at 24/7 Media, leading the company through its $649 million sale to WPP, the world leader in marketing communications. Jonathan was also an M&A investment banker at JP Morgan. Jonathan is a Director on Ghostery’s Board, an advisor to Tribeca Venture Partners, and a mentor in the NYC Venture Fellows Program. He has served on the World Economic Forum Technology Pioneers Council, Media.NYC.2020 Committee, Green.NYC.2025 Committee, and White House Forum on Business Innovation. Jonathan holds a BA in Economics from Harvard University and an MBA in Strategic Management and Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

  • Vishnu Menon

    Vishnu Menon is based in San Francisco, joined Warburg Pincus in 2005 and focuses on investments in the media, data and information, and software sectors. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Mr. Menon worked at Perry Capital and Texas Pacific Group focusing on investments in public and private technology and media companies. Prior to that, he worked at Symphony Technology Group and J.P. Morgan Capital focusing on investments in similar sectors. Mr. Menon is a director of A Place for Mom, Ghostery, iParadigms and Slickdeals. He received a B.A. with distinction, in international relations from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
