Managing Your Ghostery Account

You may view information regarding your Ghostery account by following these steps:

  1. Go to https://signon.ghostery.com/
  2. Sign into your account
  3. Click the “Privacy” tab
  4. Click the button “Download Your Information”

This will download a file of information relating to your Ghostery account.

You may remove your account with Ghostery by following these instructions:

  1. Go to https://signon.ghostery.com/
  2. Sign into your account
  3. Under “Basic Information” on the bottom right corner of the page click “Cancel Account”

This will permanently delete your account.

Data Requests Under California Consumer Privacy Act

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months, as well as the right to request that we delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Please read our CCPA Privacy Policy Supplemental Notice for further details. To exercise these rights, please send us an email at privacy@ghostery.com and tell us the right you would like to exercise, and we can begin the process.

Data Requests Under GDPR

In compliance with the GDPR, the Company provides features available in the product menu that allow users to easily download and delete the Personal Data associated with their user accounts. Follow the instructions above. If users choose to download their information, it will be downloaded as a machine-readable CSV file and will include their name, email address, and your account settings and preferences.  If users choose to delete their account, all Personal Data associated with the account will be completely and permanently deleted from the Company servers.
