Redirect Protection

Cut out the middleman and load links faster

What it does

Many search engines and large sites route clicks through a tracker before sending you to the actual destination. Redirect Protection skips the detour so you go straight to the page — faster, and without leaving a click trail.

Click counted? No. Page reached? Yes.
Redirect Protection skips tracking URLs from search results.

How it works

When you click a link routed through a known tracking redirector, Ghostery extracts the real destination from the URL and sends you there directly.

What you get

  • Direct links instead of tracking redirects
  • Faster navigation, fewer hops
  • No record of which results you clicked
  • Works with major search engines and other common redirectors
